A wit is someone who is never overwhelm by circumstance nor flustered by the unexpected.

Charlie Chaplin expressed the thought that through humor we see in what seems rational, the irrational. In what seem important, the unimportant.

It is the irrational that provides the humor. Life is irrational, therefore humorous.

Humor and a sense of proportion often unmask the absurdity in overstatements of seriousness.

This blog attempts to provide some comic relief through the witty insults and clever comebacks of "wits" who take pleasure in poking fun at pretentious and self-centered "serious" people .
